Extreme Makeover Home Edition has arrived in Middleburg, Clay County FL. Wednesday morning Carrie Prewitt the Middleburg High volleyball coach received a visit from Ty Pennington letting her know that she was getting a new home.
J A Long a local builder in Clay County will be heading the project with other local contractors and residents volunteering to help with the project. This will be a seven-day home makeover project. Starting on January 27 with the demolition of this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom 1985 double-wide mobile home and finishing up on February 3 the reveal of the new home.
If you are interested in going out to see the progress on the home do not drive out there the road is currently blocked off by the Clay County Sheriff's office. There will be a shuttle bus running from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. from the South Middleburg Baptist Church at the corner of Blanding Blvd. and Alligator Blvd. to the home on Chicory Ave.
